RED FEATHER WAY PROJECT

This property was a spec home we purchased in 2021.  

INTERIOR
Photos shown of the pre-project include the staging that the original owner did to include gingham couches and farmhouse beds and accessories. 

Indoor changes were purely done with furniture and accessories and paintings commissioned by artists who live in the mountains to capture the environment of Sun Valley Idaho:  the precious wildlife we have. 

I am currently in the process of updating the living and dining area as it has been fours years, and I feel it is time for a refresh:  wallpaper, new finding chairs, new living chairs, and artwork.  More photos soon to come as these pieces arrive.

EXTERIOR
Immediate fixes for us included the front door and shutters.  The original front door was a single wooden door painted red.  The immediate fix was to have a professional painter take the front door from a red to a walnut brown and replace the plastic black shutters with real wood shutters stained to match the door.  

Other exterior add ons
There was no landscaping in the very large back yard.  We added trees around the entire perimeter - a mix of evergreen and deciduous to really privatize the yard.  A bocce ball court was added to the north side of the back yard, a jacuzzi, and a sauna as well for leisure and entertainment.  

I later changed the door to modernize the house to more of a modern farmhouse look rather than just farmhouse.   This was changed to another French panned double doors which really expanded the look of entire house.  

Other small but relevant changes including adding a modern mailbox, modern address numbers to the house and taking out the thickness of the vegetation out front to something that uses less water and really shows the beauty of the front of the house.  

Upcoming outdoor projects will include a Tiny House on Wheels which will be both my office and another option for guests to stay in while visiting.
